Buckingham Bingo Hall Closes

There was a point last year where it seemed there was a UK based bingo hall closing every day. Luckily this trend managed to fall and it started to look like bingo in the UK was actually on the rise. I am sad to report that the Buckingham Bingo Hall in Didsbury is being forced to close.

Online bingo players may be surprised to hear that Buckingham Bingo owns an online bingo hall called bucky bingo. Though the online world might be flourishing it is one of the main reasons offline bingo halls are starting to fail. With so many bingo players flocking from offline to online Bucking Bingo now only report to have 11 land based bingo halls left.

The good news is that Buckingham Bingo has claimed that their remaining 11 other land based bingo rooms are performing well. Also the Rank group announcing improved figures shows there still is a place for offline bingo. This is no doubt a wake up call for all land based bingo halls to shake up their business model. It is now a fight for their survival and plodding along like they use to will not cut the mustard anymore. Bingo players are very loyal and until now offline bingo rooms have been relying on this solely for their business. It looks like it is time for them to start shaking it up and attracting a new crowd off offline bingo players.
