EGaming Review award the bingo industry
Recently we told you about the bingo winners named at the Online Bingo Summit, and this week was the turn of the EGaming Review ceremony. This was held at London’s Old Billingsgate centre, with Olympic silver medal winner Steve Cram handing out the awards.
Playtech won the prestigious Bingo Supplier of the Year category through its Virtue Fusion product, which is a leading brand in the bingo industry. They beat Dragonfish, Parlay Entertainment and NYX Interactive to take the honour. This followed on from their awards at the Online Bingo Summit, where they took the honours for Best Online Bingo Innovation and Best Online Bingo Software. Mor Weizer, the CEO of Playtech said; “The EGR Awards are a prestigious new event in the industry’s calendar, so we are delighted Playtech have been recognised here with three separate awards. It really shows the strength of our products across the group. Being named Bingo Supplier of the Year is a fantastic endorsement and it is extremely satisfying as it comes straight after our double success at the Online Bingo Summit.”
The prize for Bingo Network of the Year was taken by Dragonfish, who beat Microgaming and Fusion Network.
Dragonfish made it a double when they scooped the award for WhiteLabel Partner of the Year. Neogames, who power Prime Scratchcards, were highly commended in the Software Rising Star of the Year category.
The Innovation in Bingo award was accepted by NYX Interactive, who edged out Cozy Games, Playtech and Alvin5, who had the consolation of being highly commended.
To the surprise of many G2 GTech who own St Minver, the bingo white label supplier, were not shortlisted for any bingo awards, although as a consolation prize they did win an award for Lottery Software Provider of the Year.
