Bingo Summit Awards Announced

The 5th Annual Online Bingo Summit has just taken place and there are some very happy bingo operators celebrating the results. This prestigious event was held at the Park Plaza Victoria in London, and was attended by many leaders in the industry, as not only was there an award ceremony but also a series of talks from leading names, as well as the all important party afterwards.

The winner for the highly sought after ‘Online Bingo Operator 2010′ was Tombola, who beat off the other nominated operators of Foxy Bingo, Wink Bingo and Paddy Power.

Another hotly contested category was for ‘Best Newcomer 2010′. The nominations were for Red Bus Bingo, Tea & Bingo, Tasty Bingo, Hollywood Bingo and Caesars Bingo. All sites have performed well and had some excellent promotions, but Tea & Bingo took the honours, possibly gaining an edge from their length of operation.

The award for ‘Online Bingo Software’ is always an important one in this very competitive field, and Virtue Fusion ended up with this, beating off the other nominees of Parlay Entertainment, Dragonfish, Cozy Games, Nyx Interactive and Gamesys. Virtue Fusion also took the award for ‘Best Online Bingo Innovation 2010′ for Deal or No Deal.

Bingoport walked away with the prize for ‘Best Online Bingo Information Portal 2010′, Income Access were the winners in the ‘Best Bingo Affiliate Programme 2010′, and in an increasingly growing field Foxy Bingo took first place in the ‘Best Marketing Campaign 2010′ with ‘The One That You Want’
