Big wins from small operator

We often hear news from large operators, both online bingo and land based halls, about big wins for their players, so it’s nice to be able to talk about success from a small operator.

Opera Bingo is based in Cumbria and they have just 3 halls, at Penrith, Workington and Whitehaven. However, since November they have recorded wins at each of their halls, and are hoping the good luck continues! The lucky spell has been shared over all 3 clubs, starting with 2 players at Whitehaven and Penrith who recorded wins on the National Game, totalling £38,000. This was then followed by a winner at Workington, who thought she had won the club prize of £110.16 but was delighted the next day to be told by the club manager that she had in fact won both the National and Regional zone prize, and so had in fact won £5,682.88. At the time Charlotte Kennedy, Opera Bingo marketing manager, told the local News and Star newspaper: “It’s great news to have three big winners in such a short space of time and for each of our clubs to have their chance is even better. This recent win amounts to five national game wins in just over seven months, which is
fantastic. We certainly seem to be having a lucky run at Opera Bingo at the moment and certainly these three lucky ladies are in for a very happy Christmas.”

Lady Luck still continues to smile on Opera Bingo though, as recently Roselyne Murphy won £15,000 and Diane Stagg, the latest winner, walked away with £29,002, with plans to spend some of it celebrating her 50th birthday in Las Vegas.
