A 3rd way to play bingo

A night down at the local bingo hall with a group of friends can be a huge laugh and the convenience of online bingo is outstanding, but could there be another way to play this exciting game?

The answer is yes! A new craze has emerged in Ireland…drive-in bingo!

All because of the smoking ban County Meath in Ireland has started its own drive-in bingo hall. The rules are all pretty much the same. Just like a drive-in film everyone parks their cars in an organised manner, turn their engines off and buy their tickets.

Obviously the bingo caller needs to assistance of a microphone for everyone to hear him but other than that it continues as normal. When a car wins they simply hoot their horn and wave their arms. Then one of the organisers delivers their winnings to their window! Now that’s what I call a bingo bonus.

Seamus Davis the event organiser says, “It’s also a great laugh and there’s been a lot of positive reaction. You can relax in your own car with friends or family, have a smoke if you want, and enjoy the game and not worry about parking. It is really catching on, and word of mouth is helping out with this.”

Will this idea become a hit in the UK? Maybe during the summer time but I doubt us Brits will be willing to leave to comfort of our warm homes during the winter when we could just log onto sites such as RedBus Bingo or Ruby Bingo and have a quick flutter.
