5th annual online bingo summit on the calendar
There are a few anniversaries fast approaching; Foxy Bingo have their 5th birthday next month and just before their weekend celebrations in Blackpool the 5th Annual Online Bingo Summit will be taking place in London.
This is well known in the industry as being one of the most important online bingo meetings in Europe, and focuses just on online bingo. It’s well known for having expert speakers on various subjects, who are more than happy to share certain pearls of wisdom with you, and also gives participants a great chance to socialise and network with other attendees. It’s truly a key event where you can find out about various aspects of running an online bingo site, and discuss changes and innovations in the industry.
The venue this year is the luxury Victoria Park Plaza Hotel in London, and the event will take place Tuesday the 8th and Wednesday the 9th of June. Every year it seems to get more and more popular, and this year it’s rumoured that 400 people will be attending. The full programme is still being fine tuned, although it is said that amongst the key speakers will be Angus Nisbet, the Director of Gaming at Mecca Bingo, Raj Ramanandi, the founder of Tea and Bingo, and Gabi Campos, the MD of Dragonfish.
As well as being a networking and learning event there is also a very eagerly awaited awards ceremony. The plaudits this year will be announced on 8th of June, and the awards up for grabs are for Best Online Bingo Information Portal, Online Bingo Operator, Best Newcomer, Best Marketing Campaign, Best Bingo Affiliate and Online Bingo Software. We’re still waiting at the moment to find out who has been short-listed for these prestigious awards, so can’t even give you a clue right now.
There’s a lot of pride at stake, as well as all important bragging rights. The announcement of the winners is always waited with baited breath, and we’ll certainly looking forward to seeing who the winners are in 2010.
